Hair Guide
To keep your install looking flawless and lasting as long as possible, please purchase your hair before your appointment using the guide below. If you have any questions, reach out before your appointment date.
Recommended Braiding Hair
For all knotless and box braid styles, we recommend THEECBSTYLEZ-approved pre-stretched braiding hair. Pre-stretched hair only, please — it braids cleaner and lasts longer.
How many packs to buy, by finished length:
- Shoulder length: 4–5 packs
- Mid-back length: 5–6 packs
- Waist length: 6–8 packs
- Butt length / extra long: 8+ packs
Tip: it’s always better to bring one extra pack than to come up short on the day.
Bundles — Sew-Ins, Quick Weaves & Wig Installs
For the best blend and longevity, choose 100% human hair bundles where possible. Recommended amounts:
- Quick weave: 2–3 bundles
- Sew-in: 3–4 bundles + a closure or frontal
- Wig install: bring your prepared unit, or 3 bundles + a frontal to have one made
Match your texture and length to the look you want — longer and fuller styles need more hair.
Before Your Appointment
- Hair should be washed, blow-dried, and detangled (unless you’ve added a wash service).
- Bring all of your purchased hair with you.
- A $20 deposit is required to secure your appointment.
